After reading glowing reviews for this establishment we decided to take visiting friends here as a treat, as we entered the building we were seated in a family area as we had children with us, the cleanliness of the pub is second to none but the failings are definitely within the food. We ordered of the menu so cannot comment on the carvery as it was not available we tried to order 3 steaks but we we're told that only 1 was available so 3 burgers were ordered as the burgers arrived 2 of them being beef & 1 of those beef burgers were ordered of the children's menu the other being a Adults chicken burger the beef burgers were overly spiced to the extent they were inedible even the children's burger was spiced this way , they were burnt to a crisp with a blackened outside we did notify the waitress & she apparently relayed this message onto the "Chef" I cannot recommend anyone to eat of the menu from this establishment as it stands good chance they don't have what you want or they'll destroy it anyway with over seasoning, I am willing to enter dialogue with management if they are interested.
